The merger of the sales teams of Lunawood Ltd, the leading manufacturer of thermowood and Lunacomp Ltd, the leading manufacturer of thermowood composite, is proceeding. Lunawood have moved over to an area sales organisation model according to which Area Sales Managers are responsible for selling of both thermowood and thermowood composite products. All Area Sales Managers will be reporting to Mr Sami Kivistö, Director, Sales & Marketing of Lunawood Ltd, on part of both product groups, as Lunawood said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Moreover, the sales to Germany, Belgium and the Netherlands will be strengthened by the appointment of Mr Janne Heikkinen as Area Sales Manager responsible for the sales of thermowood and thermowood composite to these markets.

Mr Heikkinen, who has recently been working as Senior Consultant in FinPro, a Finnish trade organisation, and prior to in a leading sales position in UPM’s Living business area, will be located in München, Germany, as of the beginning of November.

As a result of the above, the position of Director, Sales of Lunacomp Ltd, will be terminated and Mr Marco Hautakoski will leave the company as of August 11, 2014.
