Jun 04, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Madill terminates its licensing agreement with Brightwater Engineering to represent the Madill brand of forestry equipment in Oceania, effective July 17, 2014, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

“Brightwater has been instrumental in manufacturing, selling and supporting the Madill 124 yarder in the New Zealand marketplace” said Doug Jeffrey, President of Nicholson Manufacturing, the parent company, who owns the Madill forestry brand.

“The market realities today are such that the Madill brand now requires a more widely distributed dealer network with a specialized focus in sales and support of forestry equipment and who is capable of representing the complete product line that Madill offers,” Jeffrey continues.

During the transition to a new dealer Madill and Brightwater will work together to ensure there is no interruption of services including warranty and spare parts availability to machine owners in New Zealand and Oceania.

“The Madill brand is widely recognized and respected in New Zealand and we believe there is strong demand for our complete equipment line which is perfectly suited to the larger timber, higher productivity demands and safety requirements that exist there today,” said Jeffrey.

Madill is a premium quality purpose built forestry brand designed and manufactured in British Columbia with distribution in Canada, the U.S and Oceania.
