Madison's Lumber Prices Index for the week ending July 3, 2026, rose to US$545 per thousand board feet, marking a 1% increase of $7 from the previous week's US$538, according to Madison's Lumber Reporter.

The index also advanced 5% or $24 from one month ago when it stood at US$521.

Madison's constructs the index using the same species as futures – Western Spruce-Pine-Fir, Eastern Spruce-Pine-Fir, Douglas fir, and Hem-Fir – with weighted averages based on North American production volume ratios over recent years.
