Meyer Timber completed the re-location of its main Scottish distribution facility to large new warehouse and office premises within the Port of Grangemouth, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network. This new collaboration with Forth Ports PLC builds on the excellent working relationship developed over many years at Forth’s Tilbury operation, and combines landed stock warehousing facilities with bulk on-quay storage, to allow the import of containerised goods direct to Grangemouth. The major new facility is complemented by additional Group distribution capacity at Dundee, giving Meyer Timber easy access to customers based in the Scottish Highlands, as well as those located in the Central Belt. Meyer Timber is the UK's market leading supplier of timber panel products.
