Model is investing in strengthening logistics at its Moudon site, Switzerland. The expansion will result in more space and optimised goods flows. Work on the buildings and infrastructure began on 15 August 2016 and will continue until around the end of November, as the company says in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
Expanding the building will increase its warehouse capacity. The company will be raising its transport capacity to at least two shifts during this phase. For the duration of the works, all consignments will be loaded via three provisional facilities rather than via the usual eight loading bays.
