Jun 28, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. Julius Schulte Trebsen GmbH & Co KG, a medium-sized, family-owned enterprise, is one of Germany’s leading producers of high-quality corrugated base and specialty papers, as the company Bellmer said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
The company’s management and shareholders have agreed a multi-million Euro modernisation project to enable it to react more flexibly to customer demands. The scope of supply includes modernisation of stock preparation, power plant and paper machine. Julius Schulte Trebsen GmbH & Co. KG decided on Bellmer, a specialist in rebuilds, to handle this challenging project. Paper machine elements affected include the headbox, which is to be rebuilt, and the fourth pre-dryer group, which will gain 8 additional drying cylinders to boost capacity, as well as 20 drying wire rolls. In addition, Bellmer will deliver a TURBOCombiFilmSizer, which will give significant economies in terms of steam consumption. A new glue mixing station will also be installed. The proven Pope reeler TURBOReeler – with direct connection to the existing slitter winder – will guarantee the best possible winding results. A rebuild of the secondary drying section is also planned, and 97 drying wire rolls are to be replaced. The steam and condensate as well as ventilation and air systems will be modernized with the aim of maximizing energy efficiency. The mechanical and electrical drives will be completely renewed.
