Oct 31, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. Finnish firm Myllykoski, which was planning to build a large paper mill that would employ 250 in the municipality of Opatovice Nad Labem, has decided to move its investment to Germany, CIA reported. The transfer is the result of the delays and uncertainties that have plagued the approval of construction in Opatovice. The decision is also linked to the firm's current restructuring. The investment worth roughly CZK 13 billion ($584.5 million) was the second largest investment announced in the Czech Republic this year.
