Oct 14, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Sami Koski has been appointed Group General Counsel and Jukka Ryhänen has been appointed Vice President, Group Treasurer, at Kemira Oyj. Sami Koski has previously held the position of Manager, Legal Affairs, and will now start also in the position of secretary to the board of directors, the supervisory board of directors, and the Group management boards. Jukka Ryhänen, has held the position of Treasury Manager. Both Sami Koski and Jukka Ryhänen will report to Esa Tirkkonen, Deputy CEO and CFO. Lauri Hartikainen, Vice President, Corporate Finance & Treasury Control, will be responsible for the Group's financing control and long-term financing. Kaisa Mäkipää has been appointed senior dealer and Petri Antila will continue in his current position as senior dealer. They will all report to Group Treasurer Jukka Ryhänen. The above appointments will be effective as of 14 October 2004. Matti Lapinleimu has been appointed Senior Vice President, M&A Transactions, as of 1 November 2004. In his new position Matti Lapinleimu will be responsible for mergers and acquisitions at Kemira Oyj. He will be succeeded in his current position at Kemira Service by Timo Kokkonen, Vice President, IT - Kemira Service. Timo Kokkonen will also continue in his current duties. Matti Lapinleimu and Timo Kokkonen will report to Esa Tirkkonen, Deputy CEO and CFO. Päivi Antola has been appointed IR -manager, Kemira Oyj, as of 3 January 2005. Her current position is communications manager with the Amer Group. Päivi Antola will report to Timo Leppä, Executive Vice President, Group Communications. Kai Kamila has been appointed HR Manager, Employee relations, at Kemira Oyj in Finland as of 1 November 2004. He will continue in his current responsibility as personnel manager at Kemira's Vaasa plants. Kai Kamila will report to Helena Tammi-Saarinen as concerns employee relations. The following persons will transfer from Kemira Oyj's Group Treasury to the following duties in Kemira GrowHow Oyj as of 14 October 2004: Kaj Friman, Deputy CEO and CFO, Sirpa Granström, System analyst, Ritva Sipilä, Funding and IR manager, Anna Vepsäläinen, Treasury assistant, and Jarmo Lappalainen, Treasury manager.
