Nov 02, 2007. /Lesprom Network/. Pöyry said it has been selected as the main engineering consultant for Portucel's new paper mill project in Portugal. The new uncoated fine paper production line will be built at Portucel's existing pulp and paper mill site in Setubal. The value of the contract is about Euro 10 million, Pöyry said. According to Pöyry, the mill project starts immediately with start-up expected by the third quarter of 2009. The new machine to be installed will produce about 500 000 tonnes per year of office papers. Pöyry is a global consulting and engineering firm focusing on the energy, forest industry and infrastructure & environment sectors. Pöyry's net sales in 2006 amounted to about Euro 620 million and it employs 7000 experts.
