Rama Newsprint & Papers Ltd has announced that the Board of Directors of the Company at its meeting held on June 27, 2008 have approved, in principle, the capacity expansion project of the Company, Equity Bulls reported. With the proposed expansion the installed capacity of the Company will increase by 1,25,000 tpa at a project cost of Rs 550 crores approximately (approx. $128 million). Rama Newsprint and Papers Ltd. is India's largest private sector newsprint and writing and printing paper manufacturing company.
