Oct 04, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. Rayonier announced that H. Edwin Kiker has been named vice president, investor relations. In this role, Kiker will be the company’s primary contact with the investment community with responsibility for executing the overall investor relations strategy. He will report directly to Hans E. Vanden Noort, senior vice president and CFO. Kiker assumes responsibility for the investor relations function from Carl Kraus, senior vice president, finance, who will retire effective December 31, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. “Ed’s thorough knowledge of our company and broad financial expertise will serve us well in this new role,” said Paul Boynton, chairman, president and CEO. “I would also like to extend my thanks to Carl for all he has done over the last seven years to strengthen our relationship with the investment community.” Kiker joined Rayonier in 2002 as vice president, internal audit, and became controller, real estate in 2011. Before joining Rayonier, he held audit positions with Great Lakes Chemical and PricewaterhouseCoopers. Rayonier is a leading international forest products company with three core businesses: Forest Resources, Real Estate and Performance Fibers. The company owns, leases or manages 2.7 million acres of timber and land in the United States and New Zealand.
