Nov 18, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. Rengo's Thai joint venture company, Thai Containers Group Co., Ltd. has acquired a 100% stake in D-In Pack Limited ("D-IN"), through their subsidiary. D-IN is a corrugated box manufacturer operating in Nakorn Pathom Province, Thailand, with an annual capacity of approximately 15,000 tons, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Further growth of corrugated demand in Thailand can be expected as many Japanese companies choose the country as their manufacturing base in the ASEAN region, and as national income increases. The acquisition will increase the Rengo Group's annual corrugated box production capacity in Thailand as well as the total number of corrugated production plants to 15.
