Rosko Forestry Operations accepts wood supply offer
Jun 24, 2011. Rosko Forestry Operations Ltd. in Kirkland Lake has accepted a wood supply offer from the province of Ontario for 138,500 cubic metres per year of merchantable cedar, spruce, pine, fir, white and red pine, other conifer, white birch and tolerant hardwood.

Rosko Forestry Operations Ltd. in Kirkland Lake has accepted a wood supply offer from the province of Ontario for 138,500 cubic metres per year of merchantable cedar, spruce, pine, fir, white and red pine, other conifer, white birch and tolerant hardwood. The company will use the wood supply to expand operations at their sawmill, as ForestTalk reported.
“The wood allocation is expected to help sustain the sawmill’s current level of employment, as well as lead to the creation of more jobs with the addition of a second shift,” said Joe Rosko, President of Rosko Forestry Operations Ltd.
24 new jobs will be created, and 24 existing jobs will be protected.
