National Timber Industry Company (Russia) increased round timber procession 1% to 352.8 thousand cub m in January-June 2005 compared to January-June 2004, corporate public-affairs announced. Sawn timber production – up 1% to 165 thousand cub m, including sawn timber for export – up 9% to 109.3 thousand cub m. NTIC produces various types of round timber, sawn timber for export under Scandinavian and Russian standards, window and door units, various glued, shaven and linear goods, houses of glued cant, as well as framework and panels, cement and shaven boards, fuel briquettes and other goods. The enterprise exports its goods to Germany, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, the UK, Austria, Italy, Scandinavian states, Baltic states, CIS countries, Syria, Lebanon, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, as well as supplies goods to the interior market.
