Aug 23, 2004. /Lesprom Network/. Russian Gotek (Kursk region) intends to introduce 7-layer cardboard production technology. Gotek is producing 3-layer and 5-layer cardboard at present, corporate spokesperson reported. Among the technologies to be introduced are: 7-layer corrugated cardboard for transportation package production, furniture package, large home appliances and industrial equipment; humidity-resistant package and long-destination cargo transportation package in complicated climate conditions; laminated micro corrugated cardboard (3-layer micro corrugated cardboard + layer of polymer film outside and inside), meant for frozen, fat and water-containing products; 2-layer micro corrugated cardboard with a wide range of profiles in use (open wave) for presents. Gotek was registered on November, 28 1991, the enterprises’ products account for 70% of timber sector production in Kursk region.
