Södra is maintaining its price for softwood pulp in Europe at $950 per tonne, valid from 1 January 2011, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. “The market for softwood pulp is balanced”, said Ulf Edman, President of Södra Cell International. Sodra is the world's third largest supplier of market pulp. The company operates five pulp mills - three in Sweden and two in Norway.
