Mar 16, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. To meet increasing demand for surface-treated exterior cladding, SCA Timber constructs a new painting facility in Tunadal, which is expected to be operational in June, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

SCA Timber Supply Skandinavien, which supplies Scandinavian builders’ merchants with wood products, already has a painting facility in Stugun. To meet the growing demand from builders’ merchants for industrially primed and intermediate-coated cladding, painting capacity is now being doubled with the addition of the new facility in Tunadal.

SCA Timber’s exterior cladding, made of slow-grown Nordic spruce, is planed directly before basic surface treatment to guarantee that the surface is completely free from pollutants. After priming, there is the option of treating the cladding with further intermediate coats and, if requested, it can be ready painted.
