Jul 30, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. The construction of Schweighofer's new sawmill in Reci, Romania, are proceeding very well. At the moment the planing hall, the cutting hall and the kiln drying chambers are being built. Four of the total 9 pellets silos are also already under construction, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

The log place will follow in August. Start of operation will be in 1Q 2015.

650 people will be employed in sawmill, therefore recruitment has already started, in order to train the future staff properly.
