“This investment in Setra Kastet is intended to further improve efficiency at a high-performing unit and at the same time strengthen Setra’s long-term competitiveness,” says Jonas Björnståhl, head of the Sawn Wood Products business area.
In parallel with the investment in a new sawmill infeed system, a new progressive kiln will also be installed at the unit. The new kiln will connect to a rail system which will further improve operational efficiency. The investment project is expected to be completed and in operation during 2016.
