The Brazilian customer already operates three Siempelkamp MDF lines at the same location. With the acquisition of the new plant, Fibraplac's production location in Glorinha will become the largest one in the world. The connection with the other lines opens up synergies in the area of raw material usage and therefore allows economic production of standard boards. The plant provides a daily capacity of 2,000 cubic metres and is scheduled to be installed summer 2014.
Another order from Brazil was placed by Asperbras, a new Siempelkamp customer. This order for a MDF plant includes, next to the engineering and steel construction, the fiber preparation system, the forming and press line with a 9’ x 27.1 m ContiRoll®, the finishing equipment, an energy plant, a short-cycle line as well as an evaporation facility for the water treatment.
