Feb 27, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Siempelkamp received the order for a state-of-the-art OSB plant from
Interspan, Hungary, a company of the
Swiss Krono Group. Next to the screening technology, resin application, and
forming and press line with a 9‘ x 28.8 m ContiRoll® press, the complete
finishing line and the pneumatic and mechanical conveyors are part of
Siempelkamp’s scope of supply.
At the Vásárosnaményi location, Hungary, the plant will
produce 1,060 cubic metres of OSB daily. The 9‘ x 28.8 m ContiRoll® Generation
8 press will also allow the production of light-weight boards. For the
production of light-weight boards the active lifting of the upper hotplaten
with additional differential cylinders generates special pressure profiles in
the direction of production as well as crosswise to the direction of
production.
The ContiRoll® press for the Interspan plant can be extended to 38.7 m
at a later time.Together with
Siempelkamp‘s innovative mat preheater ContiBooster the plant capacity could
thus be increased by almost 100% to 2,000 cubic metres daily.
The installation of the plant is scheduled to start in fall of this
year.
