Slovak paper mill Tento in Zilina, northwestern Slovakia, reported sales of 645.2 mln Slovak crowns ($18.3 mln/15.7 mln euro) for the first quarter of 2003, it was reported on May 23, 2003. No comparative figures were available. Tento produced a total of 18,661 tonnes of hygiene tissue paper for the first three months of 2003, up by 330 tonnes compared to the corresponding period of 2002 and 141 tonnes above the company's initial plan. Tento used 82.6 pct of its paper output to manufacture paper products, the remainder was delivered as a raw material to other companies. The company was established in July 1997 and its main activities are production and sales of hygiene products, toilet paper, kitchen towels, hygienic napkins, hygienic handkerchiefs and industrial towels produced from Tento tissue paper.
