Slovakia ratified EFI Convention
Mar 05, 2013. Slovakia has ratified the Convention on the European Forest Institute (EFI). The Convention on EFI has now been ratified by a total of 25 European countries. Entry into force will take place on 27 April 2013.
Mar 05, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. Slovakia has ratified the Convention on the European Forest Institute (EFI). The Convention on EFI has now been ratified by a total of 25 European countries. Entry into force will take place on 27 April 2013, as the EFI as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.
The ratifying countries are now Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK.
The European Forest Institute (EFI) is an international organisation established by European States. By the spring of 2011, a total of 23 European States had ratified the Convention on EFI, namely Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and United Kingdom.
