Oct 15, 2015. /Lesprom Network/. Slovenia's value of roundwood purchased from private owners in August 2015 was Euro 4.6 million, which is about 4% more than in the previous month, as the Statistical Office of the Republic of Slovenia said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Higher was the value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs (by almost 12%), while the value of purchased pulpwood was lower by 21%, of wood fuel by almost 40% and of other industrial roundwood by about 44%.

The value of roundwood purchased from private owners in August 2015 was about 112% higher than in August 2014, mainly due to the higher quantity of purchased sawlogs conifers. Higher was the value of purchased sawlogs and veneer logs (by almost 157%) and pulpwood (by about 4%), while the value of purchased wood fuel and other industrial roundwood was lower (by about 13% and 19%, respectively).
