Shareholders also approved Ernst & Young LLP as independent auditors for the company for this year, the Chicago-based company said. Smurfit-Stone calls itself one of the worldґs largest collectors and marketers of recycled fiber. The company uses some of the recycled paper to make new products and sells the rest to other companies.
