Sep 17, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. Stora Enso has appointed Seppo Parvi as its new CFO. He is currently CFO and Executive Vice President, Food and Medical Business Area, at Ahlstrom Corporation. Seppo Parvi will join Stora Enso at the latest during the 1Q 2014, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Seppo Parvi has several years of CFO and business management experience from the pulp, paper and packaging industry. Prior joining Ahlstrom, he was CFO for Metsä Board (M-real) and before that worked for more than ten years in various line management positions at the packaging company Huhtamäki, including responsibilities such as paper manufacturing within Rigid Packaging Europe and General Manager for Turkey.

“Seppo Parvi has great experience in developing, leading and reshaping large international organisations. His current business responsibilities cover markets such as India and China, which are also important growth markets for Stora Enso.
