Jun 20, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Stromsdal Corporation will outsource its finishing department to Pyroll as of October 1 this year. The two companies agreed on the transfer of 30 employees from Stromsdal to Pyroll, another 18 jobs will be cut. Stromsdal said that the transaction is to improve the quality and cost effectiveness of its finishing operations. In May this year Stromsdal had announced that it would launch a rationalisation programme aiming at reducing costs. Stromsdal is a forest based industry company and its board mill is located in Juankoski, Finland. Stromsdal’s sales and customer service network covers more than 30 countries, mainly in Europe.
