Establishing a presence in Tunis is part of Setra’s focus on the growing markets in North Africa and the Middle East. “Setra’s wood products sales to the important markets in North Africa and the Middle East have increased significantly over the past few years and exports to the region today account for 20% of our total production,” says Kent Torwald, President and CEO of Setra. “In the future we believe that the market for more processed products, such as glulam, panels and mouldings, will also have strong growth potential.” Setra, Sweden’s largest wood products company, sells wood-based products and solutions.
