The Paperboard Mill Division of The Newark Group announced a $40 per ton price increase on all coated grades of recycled paperboard (CRB) effective with shipments on or after May 2, 2011. "Our raw material and freight costs continue to escalate, and we must now pass these higher costs on through the supply chain," said Raymond M. Vargo Jr., VP, Sales, Newark Paperboard Mills.
