Nov 08, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. Metsäliitto Cooperative’s supervisory board has elected two new members to the group's board of directors. The new members are Arto Hiltunen, 48, managing director and chairman of the board of HOK-Elanto, M. Sc. in economics, and Timo Saukkonen, 43, farmer and M. Sc. in agriculture and forestry, from Simpele. In addition to this, the outgoing member Unto Kotipalo, farmer, was re-elected. Carl G. Björnberg, chairman of Myllykoski Corporation’s board of directors, who has been a member of Metsäliitto's board since 1996, resigned from the board of directors as he has reached the age of 65 years. The outgoing member Pekka Turtiainen, 63, farmer, from Savonlinna, decided not to stand for re-election.
