Jul 19, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. UPM appointed Mika Mikkola as Vice President, Investor Relations as of August 1, 2011. He has earlier worked as Director, Investor Relations in UPM, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network. Olavi Kauppila, Senior Vice President, Investor Relations, will retire as of October 1, 2011. UPM comprises of three Business Groups: Energy and pulp, Paper, and Engineered materials. UPM has production plants in 16 countries and it employs approximately 22,000 people worldwide.
