U.S. containerboard production fell 4.8% in September

Oct 18, 2012. /Lesprom Network/. U.S. containerboard production in September 2012 fell 4.8% over August 2012 and 2.2% compared to same month last year. The month-over-month average daily production decreased 1.6%. The containerboard operating rate for September 2012 lost 1.5 points over August 2012, decreasing from 97.5% to 96%, as the American Forest & Paper Association said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.
