U.S. kraft paper shipments increased by 11.6% in March
U.S. total kraft paper shipments in March 2013 were 132.6 thousand tons, an increase of 11.6% compared to the prior month. Total month-end inventory increased 0.4% to 71.6 thousand tons this month compared to February 2013 month-end inventories.

shipments in March 2013 were 132.6 thousand tons, an increase of 11.6% compared
to the prior month, as the American Forest & Paper Association said in a
press release received by Lesprom Network.
Bleached kraft paper shipments decreased year-over-year 1.3%, and the 7.2%
year-over-year decline in unbleached kraft paper shipments were enough to bring
overall kraft paper shipments down 6.5% year-over-year.
Total month-end inventory increased 0.4% to 71.6 thousand tons this
month compared to February 2013 month-end inventories.
