Aug 19, 2014. /Lesprom Network/.  U.S.total kraft paper shipments in July 2014 were 122.4 thousand tons, 5% lower than last month, as the American Forest & Paper Association said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Bleached kraft paper shipments increased from 8.4 thousand tons in June to 9.6 thousand tons in July, while unbleached kraft paper shipments decreased from 120.6 thousand tons to 112.8 thousand tons.

Overall, shipments for the first seven months of 2014 were 2.5% lower than the same period last year. Total month-end inventories increased 2.3% compared to July.
