The technology is as follows: 2 types of veneers - on the basis of formaldehyde and carbamide formaldehyde tars - are combined. According to the corporate release, the new type of plywood has high physical and mechanical characterisics, has light butt-ends, overcomes FSF plywood in some characteristics – water-resistance, density, durability and subtlety. FCM plywood is used in the construction and furniture industries. Due to the high water-resistance, the plywood can be used for the production of furniture for water-pools, gyms, children’s playgrounds, aquaparks, building package, floors for railway cars etc.
