Feb 25, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. Longview Fibre Paper and Packaging Inc. has completed a $3.5 million upgrade to its No. 7 paper machine, as the company informed Lesprom Network. The production capacity of the machine is now increased by one-third, which will reduce production costs. The No. 7 machine produces box containerboard, which is used to make the lining of packaging such as shoe boxes. Fibre also hired a new containerboard strategic accounts manager, Marc Rozatti, with the idea of expanding its customer base. Rozatti has more than 20 years’ experience in containerboard sales, according to Fibre.
