Increased output at UILPK was linked to its taking over some of the production facilities at the Ust-Ilimsk timber-processing plant (UILDZ), which specializes in stockpiling industrial timber, the source said.
UILPK and UILDZ part of the corporation Ilim Pulp Enterprise. The Ust-Ilimsk timbering complex as a whole produced product worth five billion rubles last year. UILPK is one of Russia's biggest producers of softwood pulp. It comprises plants for the making of lumber and woodchip materials.
