Sep 10, 2009. /Lesprom Network/. VIDA has completed a Euro 5 million investment in planing and trimming facilities at its Hjältevad mill in Sweden, as TTJ informed Lesprom Network. The improvements, carried out during the summer holidays, have increased processing capacity by about 30%. VIDA also recently announced its intention to add Forest Stewardship Council-certified wood to its existing Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification schemes certification. VIDA AB is Sweden's largest privately owned sawmill company. Production is primarily focused on structural timber for a large assortment of different markets.
