Apr 21, 2008. /Lesprom.com/. Weyerhaeuser Company announced that Kevin Shearer, 52, has been named vice president, Information Technology and chief information officer effective May 1. He succeeds Susan M. Mersereau, 61, who is retiring, and will report to Richard E. Hanson, chief operating officer. Shearer has served as vice president, IT Business Operations since 2007. He joined Weyerhaeuser in 1980 and has held numerous information technology positions for Timberlands, Corporate Support and Wood Products.
