Jun 10, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. President of Byelorussia Alexander Lukashenko ordered to start building a newsprint mill in Shklova (Mogilev) beginning from July, 2001. Previously an enterprise with the capacity of 200 thousand tons of newsprint/yr worth $400 million, however the project was postponed due to the lack of investors. Afterwards the project production capacities were reduced to 40 thousand ton/yr, while the amount of investments was reduced to $96 million. The production will be finished in spring 2006.
