Swiss speciality papers manufacturer Cham Paper Group announced that it has agreed to sell its Norwegian company, Hunsfos Fabrikker AS, to the German industrial holding company Bavaria Industriekapital AG. The sales price was not disclosed, but Cham Paper Group said that the transaction will lead to a non-cash book-keeping loss of CHF19 million ($15.8 million). The sale will also reduce Cham Paper Group's net debt by CHF8 million ($6.6 million). Hunsfos Fabrikker manufactures uncoated speciality grade paper and produces approximately 50,000 tonnes annually. The change in ownership is not expected to affect Hunsfos Fabrikker's continued operation. Cham Paper Group is part of the speciality papers and real estate group Industrieholding Cham AG, headquartered in Cham, Switzerland.
