He takes over after Jonas Rudberg, who - in a new role as COO - will focus on feasibility studies, pre-projects and implementation projects. Richard J LeBlanc comes from Siemens in USA, where he has been a senior executive. He will share his time between Chemrec's officese in Stockholm and Chicago. Chemrec AB is a Swedish company providing technology for black liquor gasification which integrated in pulp mills provides the opportunity to produce large quantities of renewable motor fuels or electricity from biomass.
