ENCE Group to reshuffle on the board

Jun 02, 2006. /Lesprom Network/. The management board of the ENCE Group agreed at a meeting to replace their managing director, Mr. Juan Villena Ruíz-Clavijo, with Mr. Pedro Oyarzábal Guerricabeitia.
Mr. Pedro Oyarzábal Guerricabeitia, born in Bilbao, is a graduate in economic and business sciences from the University of Deusto. With ample experience in different companies, such as Unilever, BBVA, Corporación de Alimentación y Bebidas; he has also undertaken teaching activities at the University of Deusto. Between 1996 and 2002 he held the post of managing director of Bodegas y Bebidas where he oversaw significant changes in the company which, in 2001, was taken over by Allied Domecq, where he moved onto become president of Bodegas y Bebidas, president of Bodegas Domecq, and regional director for Europe of AD Wines. He currently held the posiiton of president of Suala Consumo y Ocio, a leading private equity company in Spain.
Mr. Juan Villena, with ample experience in the public business sector (currently Sociedad Española de Participaciones Patrimoniales -SEPI), joined Grupo Empresarial ENCE S. A. as president in 1993 and has held the post of managing director and vice-president of the ENCE Group for the last six years. During his time in charge, the privatisation of the company was completed in 2001 and the company has consolidated its leading position in the eucalyptus pulp market. Mr. Juan Villena has resigned his position as a member of the management board.
