Spanish pulp, paper and energy group Grupo Empresarial Ence SA has said it is studying strategic alternatives for its Punta Pereira paper plant in Uruguay, including bringing in an industrial partner, informed Lesprom Network according to the Reuters. The company is evaluating and negotiating offers from 6 leading groups in the forestry, pulp and paper sector, all of which have solid operating and financing capacities.
