Jan 18, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. European consumer pulp inventories fell 3.4% in December, according to UTIPULP. Stocks were 42.832 tonnes lower than the year-earlier level.

Pulp consumption fell 8.7% last month to 1.099 million tonnes, it was 2.4% lower than the 1.125 million tonne level seen in December 2003.
