Feb 10, 2011. /Lesprom Network/. Interfor's Board of Directors appointed Steven Hofer to the newly-created position of Vice-President, Sales & Marketing. Hofer's appointment is a key element of the company's plan to fully leverage its size and product line capabilities and follows the amalgamation of its Cedar and Whitewood marketing groups into a single entity in December. In addition, in the next few months, the company will be adopting a new, modern identity under a re-designed Interfor brand replacing the existing Interfor, Adams Lake, Interfor Pacific and CedarPrime labels. Hofer joined Interfor in 2004 and currently serves as General Manager, Sales & Marketing. He will report directly to Interfor's CEO, Duncan Davies. Interfor is one of the Pacific Northwest's largest producers of quality wood products. The company has operations in British Columbia, Washington and Oregon, including two sawmills in the Coastal region of British Columbia, three in the B.C. Interior, two in Washington and two in Oregon.
