Mar 17, 2014. /Lesprom Network/. International Forest Products Limited (Interfor) will open an office in Peachtree City to serve as a hub for its operations in the US Southeast, as the company said in the press release received by Lesprom Network.

Interfor will be located at 700 Westpark Drive in Peachtree City. The office is expected to open in early May, and will house employees in the fields of management, sales, accounting, administration and information technology.

Interfor, which is headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, has grown significantly over the past years, including expansion into Georgia. Its recent acquisition of Tolleson Lumber Company of Perry, GA increases Interfor's total lumber production capacity to 2.6 billion board feet, making it one of the top five lumber producers in North America. With 880 million board feet in Georgia, Interfor is the largest lumber producer in the state.
