International Paper has completed modernization of cardboard machine in Kwidzyn mill, Poland.
Sep 27, 2005. /Lesprom Network/. International Paper has completed modernization of cardboard machine in Kwidzyn mill, Poland. The decision about modernization of machine producing coated cardboard was made to meet rising demand for high quality packaging cardboard. The project is another stage in mill’s investment program, company reported. After modernization machine’s production output will rise by 50 000 tonnes annually. The quality of coated cardboard’s brands Arktika®, Alaska® and Baltika® will improve. “Owing to the new cardboard’s quality we expect to reinforce our position in Eastern as well as in Western Europe. We want to provide our customers with high quality packaging materials and this investment project is an important milestone on away to achieve this object”, International Paper, European Papers business-manager Will Oldham noted.
