Investlesprom: Coated paper will be produced at Sokol mill in Russia

Oct 01, 2010. /Lesprom Network/. Investment project is being discussed in the Vologda region’s government, Russia. New production is planned to be organized at the platform of Investlesprom’s Sokolskii pulp and paper mill in the Vologda region of western Russia, company said in a statement received by Lesprom Network. According to the Head of Regional Economy Department, Leonid Yogman, the paper will be produced from Vologda’s birch by the newest technology: “The thing is about a whole range of coated papers. This is the product that is not produced in Russia at all. This is own technology”. Investlesprom group will undertake new production organization. It has in its assets – Sokolskii DOK and Sokolskii pulp and paper mill. In addition this project provides for creation of a whole complex of plants in Sokol, Russia. The first phase will be started in 2013.
