Komatsu Forest continues to invest in training in Russia

May 20, 2013. /Lesprom Network/. A new training center for forest machine operators has been opened in Divnogorsk in Krasnoyarsk Territory in central Russia. In collaboration with Divnogorsk Forest Technical School Komatsu Forest now offers a modern driver training in the region, as the company said in a press release received by Lesprom Network.

Komatsu Forest has a long tradition of working with schools for training in forestry in Russia, and provides extensive support for the customers and specialized schools regarding training of their personnel, providing equipment and materials for training. Currently Komatsu Forest cooperates with more than ten different schools across Russia located in Leningrad oblast, Karelia, Komi, Arhangelsk, Mariy L, Tatarstan, Sverdlovsk, Far-East and now – Siberia.

The latest in a series of collaborations is the driver training in Divnogorsk. There is now an opportunity for a qualified driver training for both forwarder and harvester. The training consists of both theory and practical driving in modern Komatsu simulators. Komatsu Forest will also help with training of the personnel, providing modern materials as well as technical equipment.
